It started very innocently - I talked to my growing son. Goofy as I am, I start imitating different voices. I identified myself to him with “Luke, I am your father!”. Then came Yoda. (“Ohhhh, tiny he is!”) Then I was on a roll and used the lightsaber application on my iPhone to make the sounds of the Jedi weapon of choice as well as play dramatic Starwars background music.

Before we knew it, we started referring to the little guy as “Luke”. While Susan still pushes for making Luke or Lucas his middle name instead of his first name, to me he is Luke now. That’s just appropriate - after all, the Force is strong with him...!
