Okay, I definitely admit that patience and tolerance are not my two most developed qualities and dealing with traffic is no exception. That said, what is wrong with people these days? There are a LOT of drivers who just don’t seem to care when they end up getting to wherever they need to go. They take forever to accelerate when the light turns green, they are dreaming and most annoyingly: they don’t even go the speed limit! My (fortunately short) commute home is mostly on a street where the speed limit is 55 mph. You would think that people would be going 55-60. Hell no!  Quite frequently drivers never go faster than 40-45 mph. Don’t they need to go anywhere!? I don’t know about you, but when I’m on my way home from work, I need to GO somewhere and it should only take the shortest amount of time possible. Then I get stuck behind people like this and need figure out how to go around them in traffic. I would bet that people like this actually cause more accidents by going slow then they would if they drove normally. What’s even more enraging is when we’re approaching a light that’s turning yellow and these slow bastards are the last ones that make it through and because they’re too slow, I get stuck at another red light. Thanks for letting me vent, I already feel better. And if you can do me a favor: Go the speed limit, please!
