Thanks for stopping by! Here are some of the milestones in my life that have made me who I am today:

1. •I was born in Detmold, Germany, on September 19, 1970.
   

2. •The quiet little town of Lage was my home until age 27.
   

3. •Drawn to the land of opportunity, I moved to Irvine in sunny southern California in August 1997 (look at the German weather, then you know why...)
   

4. •After two years of intense training, I became a 1st degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do in July 2005.
   

5. •On 10/16/05 I got married to my wonderful wife Susan!
   

6. •A long journey ends just for a new one to begin: On November 30, 2007, I became a US citizen. What’s next, running for Governator!?
   

7. •Little Luke joined us on January 26, 2009 and is now enriching our life every day. And he’s making us very tired too.
   

The latest - July: July is single-dad month - Susan’s been on 5 or so business trips this month. Arghh! Can’t wait for August when I’ll be gone for a week to a conference...
